I'm thankful for the friends and family and sometimes the two almost seem the same. This also includes the renderosity friends/family here. Very thankful for you guys! Cheers, Angela

For having the chance to have known such wonderful people, those living and those passed, throughout my life. That is one funny pic ICM!

WOW! We all told you it happens like that. One minute your minding your own business, the next you're falling head over heels for that someone new. Where does she come from Ruben, and is she coming to see you for a holiday? Inquiring minds need to know, nosey minds too for that matter. 8) Catlin

Her name is Ashleih and she's from Greenville Michigan USA, she's 16 years old and she'll turn 17 in a couple of days. She's really cute; she's blonde, I like blondes :), and she has blue eyes and a nice figure. And she's really sweet. She came by on the forum of my favourite actress and she introduced herself and I said hi and we exchanged a list of interests and then she wanted to chat. We just started chatting not much more then a week ago and I instantly liked her a lot. And I thought she liked me too, it was pretty obvious actually, but I wasn't sure. I thought she'd probably think I was weird for falling in love with her after only a few times chatting without even knowing what she looks like. But then last monday when we where chatting and she asked if I was single and when I said yes she told me she really liked me and if we could please be an internet couple :D I was really happy she liked me too so I Immediately said I would really like to be her internet boyfriend and that's basically how it happened :) I don't know if I will be able to visit her any time soon, and if I had the time I didn't have the money. I'm off with a new orchestra during the vacations, in 3 weeks we'll have a winter tour and during the summer vacation we'll have a tour too. And then when I'm not on a tour I have a trip planned to Krizia, she's my best normal friend in the whole world. I met her on the internet too. She lives on an armybase in Puerto Rico. It'll cost me quite some money and I need to work 2 part-time jobs next to my newspaperround and my study to finance it. Maybe Ashleih can come over here some time, but first I have to convince her mom that I'm real lol Any ideas on how to do that?

catlin_mc ( ) posted Mon, 01 December 2003 at 3:41 PM

You could ask her to contact your female friends here and we can give you glowing references. 8) Then again she might not think that we're real either. lol 8D Catlin

catlin_mc ( ) posted Mon, 01 December 2003 at 3:45 PM

BTW, have you sent Ashleih any of your photo's yet?, you know the ones where you're wearing a suit and playing in the orchestra. If she really wanted to verify that you are who you say and not some letcherous old man she could contact your old school I suppose. Well I'll think some more on how to convince her and get back to you. 8) Catlin

Rayraz ( ) posted Mon, 01 December 2003 at 4:10 PM

I send her a photo of myself :) but then again that could be someone else on those photo's. If I was a creep I could do that too.

You've got to start somewhere Ruben. 8)

Rayraz ( ) posted Tue, 02 December 2003 at 2:54 AM

Her mom doesn't allow her to give me her adress, one time she gave her adress to this guy she used to chat with and one day he suddenly showed up at her house without any warning. But it's almost her b-day and I want to send her a gift so I need her adress. I want to keep my idea to send Ash a gift a secret 'cause if she doesn't expect to get a gift then it'll be more of a surprise and more fun when she does get it. So I've had a talk with her sister about it and we came to the conclusion that it might help if I send her mom a scan of my dutch ID-card. You can't get those outside of the Netherlands as far as I know and my name and picture are on it, that would prove I'm really who I say I am and that I'm from the Netherlands I think. What do you think? is it good enough to work?

I think that is the best idea yet, you can't argue with an ID card. 8)
