Subject: Getting new plants into Vue 4

I dont understand how to add the plants that I have downloaded into Vue.. Is there a tutorial out there to help me?? I cannot find one.. or I jusT dont know where to look. Thanks you, Shiollie

What format are the plants? VOB? OBJ? DXF?

Ooppss sorry about that! The fern I would like to get into Vue has 2 files one is a VOB and the other is prv. I have a bamboo tree that is xfr. Thank you!! Shiollie

When you are inside Vue, you just right-click the Plants icon. then you can select the plant you want.

You can't import an xfr format, I think that's XFrog. In the manual there is list of formats that you can import to Vue, includes 3ds and obj among others.

Thank you Gebe and Djeser.. silly me.. I simply used the import function and viola, I can use the plant!!.. I am not going to worry about storing them in Vue if I can use them by importing them.. Now if I can just figure out those alpha planes.. LOL.. I am sure I will be back with more questions!! Thank you again.. Shiollie
