still life would be good basic practice for everybody, me especially..... Jack

We have to stop having such good choices! I would have to lean towards Emotion just because it is difficult to capture, especially true Emotion. Besides, I don't have the Nikon yet so that would only be one shot in the whole month once I get it! Magick Michael

I gotta go with the Magick one, Emotion. One of these months, I hope we get a challenge that's a bit tough where you really need to stretch a bit to come up with the shot. Stuff in that category for me would be Emotion, Enlightenment, Sexism, etc. -=>Donald

I would vote for Emotion. The only still life I see is in the cubicles next to me. Not very interesting. On second thought, LIGHT might be a good one. I could flash the lights and make them thing we had a power bump. But that evokes Emotion again. hmmmm

Akinom, what prevents you from shooting a still life with light? Think about it: Christmas tree, candles, soft light, turkey ... :-) I'm for still life, too.
