Is anyone in any doubt about whose armchair that is?

2nd question - can a cat get any longer than this?

Note the way he managed to rummage around in that chair, yanking the throwcover off it while he was "getting comfortable"

ROFLMAO.

George is the neighbors cat. He thinks he lives here. If I happen to sit in that armchair when he comes in, he will look at my other half as if to say "Well? Are you gonna move her, or do I have to do it myself?"

If I don't move, he will eventually squash himself in next to me, making damned sure that I know how uncomfortable this is. And I will get "The Stare". Repeatedly.

LOL

Cats... gotta love em...

get a pitbull and chain him to your front door....that will keep the cat from flambouyantly walking into your house like it's boss and owns the house....acting up and all....then your problem is solved....you get the comfy chair all to yourself!!! ;) juzz kidding...... =) i love cats...and any animal that has fuzzy fur on it...i always wanted a pet when i was a kid.....but my parents said no ....they said i might get bit and all....... anyway, nice pic. :)

Well... there is a slight flaw in the pitbull scenario... George might win. A few days back, I walked outside to muchos hissing and growling. Naturally I looked. In the left corner, in the blue shorts... was a very very pissed off George. In the right corner, in the red shorts... was a terrified fox. I think the fox had tried to eat Georges food. As any neighbor will tell you, to come between George and food... it's just not a good idea. He's not a big cat. Just normal size. But what he doesn't have in bulk, he makes up for in attitude. He cornered the fox and then turned into an "Attack Cat". The poor fox (twice the size of George) didn't know what hit him. He hit the corner and then only saw one option - flee. Unfortunately I was in the way. So he either had to go past me - or George. He chose the lesser evil. Me. George went after him like a bat out of hell, swiping and scratching at him as he went full pelt past me lol. (I saw that fox again later - and he was limping. Poor thing.) So... if there is food involved... I wouldn't want George to hurt that pitbull... ya know? "WOW,you have space in your chair!!!!!" No no - you have that all wrong! It's NOT my chair. It's George's chair. Besides, he will sit there and stare at you when you sit in it. You know that kid with the spoon in the Matrix? I swear what George is trying to tell me is "There is no chair." He really is cute. He's VERY well behaved (unless you sit in his chair) but the absolute FUNNIEST thing was when we were having a steak dinner a few months back. He sat on the arm of that chair, drooling, trying to hypnotise the steak off my fork. He was trying so hard... all of a sudden there was this really ODD noise. I frowned. My boyfriend frowned. We looked at each other and shrugged. Then it came again. I saw George jump slightly when the noise came... listened and watched... there it was again! In his effort not to drool into my plate... George got the hiccups. I have never in my LIFE seen a cat get hiccups. I swear, my boyfriend and I were in TEARS laughing, while George sat there, looking at the wall as if to say "Not me. HIC. Dunno what that noi--HIC--se is." I damn near died laughing. Silke

One of our cats laid claim to the computer swivel chair in the family room. Go figure. Otherwise, just about ANYTHING brought into the house and placed on the bed or floor is claimed by a cat. They do this by walking over to it, smelling, and then plopping down on it. BTW, nice picture!

Thanks :)
I walked into the livingroom when I heard my other half laughing out loud - saw the cat, grabbed the digital camera....
He didn't even flinch.

There are a few other shots of him...

I'm surprised I didn't shake the pictures more. I was laughing my socks off lol.

I can't understand how a cat can be soooo arrogant, when they are face to face with a boot as big as mine. Not that I hate them, or would hurt them, they just don't seem to know their place on the food chain. My girlfriend has a cat. When she moved in with me, so did the cat. The cat didn't like me, it shit and pissed on EVERYTHING only as long as it was mine. My girlfriend loved the cat to much to get rid of it. I got rid of the both of them. Problem solved.

I still miss my first cat. Pegusus was a black and white mutt of a cat. We grew up together. One night we were all sound a sleep, when suddenly the TV went on in the living room. All the human member of my family were accounted for, so we ran out with whatever eapons we could lay hands on. Sitting in the middle of the living room floor with his paw on the remote was Peg. He turned and lookd at us with an expresion that could only be a mildly annoyed "What?" Then he turned back and KEPT watching the TV. Dad went over, picked up the remote, lowered the volume and said "Keep it down. It's late." Peg lived to be 23 years old. He was reasonable active for all of them. His last 7 years he had diabeties, and need insulin. (It REALLY runs in my family. Even got the cat!)In his last month, he started jumping in peoples laps. He dug out a ball and string and we played with him like he was kitten again. He worked so hard to get our attention we were almost annoyed, but we all took time to play with him. We soon found out what he already seemed to know. He was saying his goodbye's. That last week he crashed hard. I spent his last night on the floor with him, gently stroking the back of his neck. I never had a better friend. Hopefully he'll put in a good enough word for me to keep me out of hell when I go to join him. Whatever furry friend is at your side, give him a scratch behind the ears and tell him Peggie' says "hi".

That is a cute kitty. I have 12 indoor and another 4 out. I have one that looks just like this that I will have to put down in the next few days because one of the neighbors put some anti-freeze out for him. I have a dog and all the cats adore my puppy. The smallest ones (7mo.) still try to nurse on the puppy.

A great cat. Makes me miss my old Ginger cat, we lost him at 21 years old. He ruled the house, but his place has been nobly taken by Tiggy tabby, who is a youthful 10 and rules the dogs, the other cat and us with a rod of iron. He also sees foxes off, but allows the badgers to visit.

What a cute cat :o) And yeah they sure know their place: In the warmest, most confortable place in the room. Should a puny human happen to sit there? Well, that's why cats CAN stare in the first place! Here's a pic of one of our 3 cats, Jack. He has a habit of draping himself in some VERY odd positions from time to time. On this pic he is actually fast asleep!

aww what a pretty black kittie! I love black cats! When I went to adopt a kittie a yr ago, I orginally went to see this black cat named "angel" but she wasn't quite into children and we have three. It was there we found "nani" who is warm and loving and gets along great with our kids. The funny side of this story though is that My children called my husband's mom "nonnie". Later when the movie "Lelo and stitch" came out I found out that Nani means "flower" in hawaiian (sp?). So my little Nani is a dude flower lol. And a loving one at that.--Essie
