Ok, so the front splash page of Daz says that your can "upgrade to Glamorous Vicki2" for free. When you click it though you go to a page where is clearly says she is $14.97. Anyone know what this is all about? At least it is keeping my mind of a certain product which begins with S and ends in O and has TUDI in the middle!

that's a good question..... did you check at the bottom of the page for the updates? that's usually where I find them.--Essie

Scroll down to the bottom of the page (the G. Vicki2 page that is) and you will see a updater file you can download.

That's what I am asking. There is no Glamorous Viki 1 anywhere I can see. I assumed they meant upgrade from bog-standard Viki 3 but I guess that is not the case.

Glamorous Vickie 2 is an upgrade on the first Glamorous Vickie by Jim Burton, which was based on Victoria 3 and sold at DAZ. Jim stated at the product showcase forum that he reworked this model, giving her her own OBJ file instead of the V3 one. Check out his thread for more info.

I'm reasonably sure that the update will work whether you got her from DAZ directly or BBay. Personally, I think it's great that Jim Burton reworked her, and even better that we can get the improved version free - free is always good!

You might be thinking of another figure I sell at BBay, Supermodel Vickie, Glamorous Vickie has only ever been sold at DAZ. Supermodel Vickie is Victoria 1 based, I also sell her here, incidently.
