The model is just a stand-in for one I would like to model myself. But, I'm posting this because that fractal program that Zhann told us about is really nice for creating nebulosity for outer space scenes. I think I'm in love with this thing.

I finally took a break to get some food (at 9:30 pm my time) after something like 8 hours straight of playing with this stuff. I managed to get some work done too (very little, but some). Was I starting to sound a tad hyper???? Snicker.

Gotta love space scenes! I like to use Glitterato by Flaming Pear to make my space backdrops. There was a really good thread here a few weeks back about making space backgrounds in photoshop.

I was foolin' around with Universe Creator for some space scenes, plus it has other uses, Rochr uses UC alot....

OK ... well I have my image to post in my gallery tomorrow. I'm happy. I'm tired. I'm going to bed. I call it ... "Pandora's Box"

Excellent pic rickymaveety! And a great title too! I was thinking "hey, that look's like Pandora's box" the second I saw it!

Darkginger, From the quality of the stuff these guys are posting, I don't think that there can be any doubt about chaoscope being interesting, lol.

Darkginger ( ) posted Sun, 07 December 2003 at 2:49 AM

Yeah, I'm playing with it now, and it IS interesting! Not really sure what I'm doing, but it's a lot of fun - and my French is improving by the second...
