Subject: Victoria 2 textures on Victoria 3

I know this has to be somewhere, but I can't seem to find it in the forums. Please forgive if it's redundant.

Is there some way to put V2 textures on V3? I've purchased quite a few textures for V2 and I'm kind of dismayed that when I try to put them on V3 the results, are, ah, unfortunate. Is there a simple fix? I can't really afford to buy a whole new suite of textures :(

Method 1:

Remap Victoria 3 to use Victoria 2 textures. You'll need UVMapper (available at UVMapper.com) and DAZ's .uvs file (available from Victoria 3's product page).

Method 2:

Buy the Universal Texture Convertor utility at DAZ and you can convert all your V2 textures to V3 (and vice versa).

The V3-V2 figure you got with Vicky 3 can take Vicky 1/2 textures and still use Vicky 3 head (not body) morphs.

How about running this equation backwards? V3 toV2?

There haven't been any remap jobs for Victoria 1-2 to take V3 textures. Not yet, anyway. Your only choice in that direction is the UTC utility. Speaking of backwards, I'm still waiting for Dark Whisper to create Posette/P4 Male plugins for the UTC, myself. I understand that they're fairly high on his priority list, but we won't likely see anything until next year.
