Here's a link to all the keyboard command, and Easter Eggs I know of ( as of right now ), most of this is common knowledge...but some is not. If anybody knows of anything else that is not documented in the manual, program menus or help files let me know.

foleypro, There are 2 more in the terrain editor, I haven't been able to figure out. Ctrl/A and Ctrl/E I know there is something going on, because if auto key is on, then the time line is moved, then hit the commands, a keyframe is added. Which means some kind of change has occurred.

Super job! Learned a couple of new tricks... the only thing I didn't see is in the Terrain Editor (on the Mac) by clicking on the picture button while holding down the Option+Command key you can use the DTE as the source for the terrain. I used to know what the PC keys were but I can't remember. Thanks again for the resource; Dan

I don't see the one about anti-alias turning it off by CTRL+shift and click on the check mark in attributes. Maybe it's in there, but I didn't see it.

ricky...it's in there! The easter egg about placing the sun/moon perfectly in the scene is just AWESOME! Thanks for the great link!

Well, here's my take on it from chapter three of my book. I probably missed a few though, so I'll be looking at the material from the website. (Just right click to download the pdf or it should pop up if you left click it)

Nope ... it doesn't show up on the net ... geocities tends to do that .... so just right click and save target as. Requires Adobe Acrobate Reader (but you all have that, right??)

Awesome...Now if I can just figure out how to Paint a hole thru the SIDE of the Mountain in the Terrain Editor I will be a happy man....

Thanks Dennisld, Ctrl?A does reset the clipping bracket. I know Ctrl/E opens an object's editor ( like the TE ) But once inside the Terrain Editor, Ctrl/E is doing something else, I just haven't figured out what yet. Thank to Dan to, I forgot all about opening the DTE and pic library, using that trick. I'll add these to the list.

Stephen, it appears that pressing ctrl-e in Terrain Editor does... how do I call it ... well, something with the grey values in the pic. If I click on "Lower" and press ctrl-e afterwards, it will return the greys to the previous values. But if I click on "Raise", pressing ctrl-e afterwards does nothing.

Oh, yeah, after applying an effect (Paint), pressing Ctrl+Alt and going over the pic will Unpaint the effect. And you don't have to go and click on Unpaint under the picture.

Huh. When in Elevation mode, pressing Ctrl-Alt will always give you the opposite of the grey value you're using. I'll leave now. :-)

Yea it seems the alt key basically gives the opposite of what the brush is set to do. So if the bust is in paint effect mode alt will put it in unpaint effect. If the brush elevation is set to highest elevation, alt key will set it to lowest elevation, ( or invert the paint brush elevation ) same with min and max, the only one it doesn't seem to change is erosion. Yea Ctrl?e does seems to have something to do with raising the elevation. Thank I'll have to work on that one.
