Subject: What do you think about Poser 4, and why?

Hi dudes, please answer this question because I want to know your comments about this software.

Ok, thanks a lot, and see you.

Well, poser in general is pretty addictive. I guess I'm kind of a control freak and I like to make people who can't talk back. Seriously though, the software has an interface that is pretty easy to use. I think you can get a relatively good render with the program settings. Some people prefer Poser 5. Poser 5 is good for some things but not others. For simplicity, stick to Poser 4.

Poser 4 is great and as said above it is very very addictive. I originally bought poser 3it merely to put figures into my bryce pictures, but with p4 the possibilities became endless. I am not a B5 fan. Have it but still use 4 most of the time.

One of the best computer programs ever written.

I hate it. Before I had Poser, I had free time to spend with my family, listen to music, do stuff around the house; I had spare cash to buy food and clothes and stuff. But it's all right, I can give it up any time I want to. I just don't want to right now. ;)

I like it, except for the loading up of stuff (73 CD's; 12,000+ items and counting, and now I don't even have Odeathoflife's guitar loaded, my one and only prop..;). It's fun, and I use it to populate the occasional Bryce pic (would that Poser could do textures like Bryce; would that Bryce had organic textures like Poser; there's no pleasing some people..;)
I think Poser 4 is now called Poser Artist, or something to that effect. They had a deal going on it, but I don't know if that's still going on or not. Keep your eyes peeled for Daz Studio; coming soon to Platinum Daz members, working it's way through the transition metals down to the simple carbon-based folk like you and me. Supposed to be free, but may or may not save or export in the first version (what's the latest rumor, y'all?..;)

Looks like this is a habit, ask a question and never show again. Marque

If you don't have a conspiracy theory, maybe a secret government department is keeping it from you. :) Poor joramnet just wants someone to talk to. Is there such a thing as a benign troll?

It could be that he is too busy to answer his questions unlike the other bums here.
