Hi guys! =) ok, i need some advice....i have this project and i want my figures to look as good as possible..... on the right is Stephanie.....i want to use her in my project but the problem is she doesn't have any clothes....now i said i could do three things.... 1. use Carrara to model bikini top and bottom meshes 2. use morphs to modify existing meshes OR 3. Use Photoshop and Painter to paint on clothes i decided to just paint her clothes on....i figured it would give me more flexibility....plus i think making a mesh is way harder than painting, at least for me....i am very new to painting clothes...in fact, the sample above is my very first flirt with painting clothes.....i just did that right now......i think it looks OK especially for someone who has never used Photoshop/Painter for this kind of work.... my problem is there is something wrong about her top and bottom....i cant put my finger on it....i dont know if its the shadows, color of highlights, etc. I just get this feeling that there's something weird....i tried hard to get things right like the shadows of the top and bottom, but theres still something missing..... i'm pretty sure you guys have a LOT more experience that me in this area.... so could you please examine Steph's top and bottom and see if there's something that can be improved, added, removed, etc.? please ignore the figure on the left, that's Victoria.....Stephanie is the one on the right. thanks a lot for any help and for reading my message!! =)

I like it, looks good. Her right breast could use a little shadow on the side of the bikini. The top itself could use a little more definition or a seam at the bottom edge. And maybe a little shadow around the thong edges and strap. Look at the straps on the Vic pic for reference. But it really does look good =) Oh...and her right nipple seems to have popped out. G

Steph can use V2 clothes. For painting the bottom try a subtle drop shadow.

on the clothes, select each body part of the cloth (collars, arms, etc) after conforming them to your figure and play with the x, y, z dials... that's how I usually manage to get clothes from some characters to fit others.
