Subject: Animating P5 hair, need help.

Hullo there. I Have to animate dynamic hair. How do I prevent curls from straightenig? I mean, when I hit calculate, gravity pulls the curls straight. Obviously, when I switch gravity to 0, the hair will hang in the air. Any ideas?

Are those curls that you created with the "style hair" tool or are these curls created with the "kink" parameter? The preview while calculating animation does not show the kinkiness, but it is not forgotten - once the calculation is through, the kink parameters are applied to the hair and you get your curls back. If you did the curls using the style tool, try increasing the "bend resistance" parameter.

OK, so I'll rephrase it for that case: Let the calculation run all the way through, then switch to frame 1. Are the curls back there? If yes, you're fine. If not, try increasing the "bend resistance" and/or "position force" parameters.
