Is there a way to set aperture and depth of field on the camera in Vue?

See page 63 in the user guide for Vue 4 and in the Tutorials section in our backroom. Guitta

I see something for blur and focus, but nothing for aperture. It seems like I have to jack around with the focus forever to get it right. Too bad there isn't a way to automatically set the focus to an object like in Bryce. How do I get to this "backroom" section?

To set the focus automatic on an object is available in Vue 4 Pro. Aperture? I cannot really answer, you may try until you get a good result. I'm afraid there is no "general" way to do this. Guitta

Vue 4 Pro? . . . which I suppose costs a bundle to upgrade to?

Yes, but the features in there... Just have a look a www.e-onsoftware.com and surf over all the new features in clicking at the links at bottom of the Vu e4 pro page:-)

You make a very good point and this should be added to the Vue wish list for the next update of Vue d'Esprit. A very good question and you may get a better answer from e-on software than what has been mentioned here by the moderator. Aperture adjustment would be a great addition to the program and since e-on has many Bryce users it only makes sense. Thanks for bring it up.
