Just another set of WIPs for the new image! 3 weeks of combined rendertime was a real test for the patience, but it turned out ok eventually. All modeled with booleans, except some of the letters (signs). Lightrays, ship, people and citylights in Photoshop, and haze + additional lights and reflections in Universe IC. PS. sorry for the long image... :)

Yeah, the compression really chewed the pics, but its the only way i could get below 200 kb. But if anyone want to see larger images, i can upload them instead. :)

Rochr, your art is so wonderfully rich with atmosphere and a great sense of presence and which often reminds me of sci/fi scene set design and background matts. I understand your concern for the smaller file sizes and what they do to the overall appearance of your work but us with dial-up connections appreciate the faster downloads. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

PJF - the 200kb might just be for images in forum threads. Your wip's feel like a tut, Rochr. Thanks for putting it together.

That's awesome, Rochr. It's cool to see the eveolution of image as it takes shape. As ususal, awesome work. I guess having so many appendages, shall we say, can help.
