Hmmm. that just sounds like an ink prob on Epson's part, I've used em for ever it seems, I have a 1220, sounds like they may have had a bad batch of paper and ink that don't jive with each other heh, maybe they need to do a priority check:-) Thanks for the info though, it's great to know and it's cool that you let everyone be aware of the problem for sure!
Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

I just bought an Epson 1270 and I was horrified to find out that the printer has a severe problem with most of its papers. It seems they get a horrible orange cast due to Ozone and environment exposure. Specially the Super gloss paper that can turn orange in 24 hours. Epson knows about it and it started advising "curing" the print under a sheet of paper for 24 hours. Now they recommend curing it for 48 hours in the dark. They also strongly recommend the prints to be in protective sleeves or under glass. Last I heard they were accepting paper exchanges or just plain returns on the printers. Not a good sign. I have not installed my printer yet but now I am debating between returning the printer or waiting for Epson to correct the problem. I know this is not totally related to Bryce but I just want to warn everybody of the problem. If you want I could give you a list of sites that are discussing the problem.
