Subject: Christmas Came Early!! (Finally!)

Finally got my D100 in, and like any "man', I jumped right in and started popping pics with it (not having the first clue as to what all these buttons are for). Right out of the box, with no adjustments (shooting at whatever the factory setting of the camera is) - I'm already in love! I just had to post the first shot out of the thing here (my poor dog, "Molly", is wondering what's going on here...

Had to give a shot with my old SB-25 - full manual with a wild guess at exposure bounced off the ceiling.... Still driving the dog nuts!

OK - so the dog got really ticked - ran to "mom" for help, and I grabbed this - i dunno, but for some reason, I really like this shot - the strong protecting the weak sort of thing...

Awwwwww.....Molly is beautiful. That is funny that you say 'mom'...that is what we do too!

This is my first time here in this forum and what a lovely way to start it. You have a beautiful dog.
