I put this together a while ago and let it sit and now am getting back to it and would like some suggestions on this. Is it "too busy"? I resized to 800 X 600 to make it easier to look at but the finished image will be 1024 X 768.

ok well here is what i see... Now in the image you have the light coming from the right side and the front, but the moon is behind the world you have built when doing an image at night the light is from the moon and you must remember this as it makes an image if the person looking at th image feels that the light is right for the image. now dont get me wrong i think what you have done here is great and the pose is exellent but thats what i can see hope it helps regards seeklight

seeklight is right. Here's is what I would do. I'd make my key light a little more warm as if it's coming from a fire or lights from a town down below the scene. I'd make the fill light coming from the moon the same cool blue-ish color that you have now for the key-light. Right now you don't have any fill light and you're losing all of the details in the shadows. My two cents for what it's worth.

Another possibility would be to add another main light, aligned with the moonplanet in the sky, to produce a doubled offset shadow. That would imply another moon or body providing light, and really drive home the alieness of the image...

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. I will try playing around with the lights later tonight. I appreciate everyone's feedback.
