please see the attached link... could someone help in this? I'm no modeller, but I'm trying to give it as try at riddokun's request... the idea is to make an eye smart prop so you can apply an eye texture to it and use it in any character you want, without going to the process of making a different eye texture per character... this sounds simple enough, but I'm sure someone more expert in modelling could do a much better job than me... plus the fact that I don't know how to "smart prop"... should I create a couple of spheres, texture them, then place them in the eye sockets and then turn them into a prop?

I just exported my Vickie eyes after I bought V2 and reimported them and put them in my P4 figures... before that I had used the Moist Eyes I have in the Marketplace. Now I use these Don Eyes I got somewhere on most of my characters... I looked at the docs and they don't indicate the autor or d/l URL. I use my own textures with these Don Eyes but they have THE BEST GEOMETRY HANDS DOWN. For you... You could export and remapp the eyes of your prefered figure using the free UVmapper software but if you want to distribute your eyes you must creat your own spheres in some modling program obviously... the best configuration would be a ball with a concave depresion for the iris and a seperate transparent convex bulge over this for the cornea. If the cornea material is black the preview should be okay and you cay set it to not visible if it is a seperate prop if you are concerned with cartoon renders.

Take a look at my AnthroEyes in Free Stuff, if you want some ideas on how to go about this.
