Steve, Great render. Can you tell me if this is a 3D background, and if so, where it came from. I'd much appreciate it as it has to do with the same type of work we've done previously, very recently, and hopefully more of next year/month. MY e-mail address is pam@iw43d.com. I'd be much obliged. Thanks a million! Pam.

Hi Pam, it's me esther. I reckon that is definitely beyond doubt an aerial photo. That's easy to do. Looks good too. Especially when you don't have to worry about lighting or shadows as you don't in a background that's so far away. Love etsher

Hi Esther. I know that may have sounded like silly question, but we just finished a job creating 3D ground environments at several different altitudes for a parachute training simulator. Although our aerial shot is a view from a much higher altitude than the background scene in the image with Steves cool helicopter (choppers dont fly as high as planes, that makes sense;) but this is the only image I have. This is a 3D model, and these are texture maps (one of many) that Tom created for this job. He may have some images at lower altitudes, but because he had to make sure his graphics worked properly with their simulator engine, he completed all the work on a system they provided him with (with the sim engine on it) and was therefore not hooked up to his network, or the internet. So I never got to see the closer shots. Hw built some buildings, and a runway, and a whole bunch of stuff, but I only saw the pieces. Looks pretty photorealistic though, dont you think? XO, Pam

OMG, now I see what you mean. I would swear that that's a photo. Boy your husband is a very very good mdeler. That's amazing. Okay, now the next question is, can we buy these from your site. They would go nicely with the aeroplanes you have, like the jumbo jet and the cessna that I bought. Love esther ps can he make a parachute for vicki 3?

Thanks Esthar, but Tom is just my boss.. friend.. partner.. We'd kill each other any other way. ;) "They would go nicely with the aeroplanes you have, like the jumbo jet and the cessna that I bought." Sure would! But you know.. let me think... we DID have parachutes when we did JumpZone for Disney ESPN, but it was a custmo job so we don't own them (They weren't in POser anyway) No parachutes here in free stuff. C'mon... someone always has a free one somewhere. ;) Did you ask on the forum? You're so cute Esther. You crack me up with your planes. I love it! XO, Pam

Oops sorry for thinking Tom was your husband. Hehe. well as for parachutes, I know your IW43d planes are pretty sturdy but you never know when you will need to bail in a hurry. Love esther BTW he makes great interiors too. I posted one so the others could see it. Sorry it's not a really great render.
