This is a first attempt at a hobbit -- a perfect companion for my gandalf. Tried using the P4Man to boyv2 from poserworld but just couldn't make it look o.k. Decided to try and model one from the p3nude boy.clothes were modelled in dream3d but aren't conforming. Instead, i replaced the body part with the clothes prop. Now the question --- is there a model of curly hair around for the poser kids? I'd like to study one and see if i should model the hair on the hobbit's feet. Plus, where can I find a tutorial on "transmapped hair"? your help would sure be appreciated.

I would try to give him a less "kid-like" face. And also you could make him look a little bit fatter (should I have said "overweighted" ? Sorry, but politically-correct didn't reach here yet ;) ) Oh, I forgot : hair on the feet !!! ;))

I think Digital Babes (under top 15 links) has a t.mapped hair tutorial. Yes, hobbits like to eat a lot, so he should be a jolly, round, fat little feller. And they like bright colors too...greens and yellows and reds. Plus, hair on the feet. Good start though maclean

He should have a bit of hair on his feet, and I believe the feet should be a bit larger if I remember from the book. And yes, the face does look a little young if you're doing Bilbo. If just a hobbit then no problem

He looks a LOT younger for Bilbo; in fact, this is much closer to how I'd picture Frodo at the start of the Trilogy than (IMO) Bilbo from any point in the series!

I think that it looks great, it just isn't Bilbo in any sense that it's a hobbit. Bilbo, even in the Hobbit was already middle-aged, and quite fat. If you're looking for a LOTR look, he's 111 years old in the beginning, almost 130 at the end, I believe. So even though their life cycles are a bit different, that's a hobbit kid sry :) Sbobette
