hello, remember me.. well i've been accualy making an kind of christmasy image.. and i need help.. i need to figure out how to make something look like its crashed in snow.. like plain hitting the ground kind of thing. suggestions needed.

How could we forget you Drac? When something smashes into snow hard enough, and I think you robot is heavy enough to do it, it sprays out, not only snow, but earth as well and the object would create a crater with debris spread out in a fan shape from the crash site. The edge of the crater would be higher at one side of the impacted object if it hit at an angle, and would in general be higher around the object sweeping down to the level of the surrounding ground. Is this in the act of crashing, or after it has crashed? The debris pattern would also depend on your angle of impact too.

after the crash, but not a very heavy object, a sleigh to be exact.. and i'll have to work with the suggestions
