Exporting things from Bryce goes the opposite way of importing, naturally. 1) Select the object you want to export and click on the arrow beside the menu item Create. 2) Click on Add. (Or click on the category first, if you want it to be under a different heading from Installed or User.) In the pop-up window enter the name and the description of your objects. Now the object is in your library of presets and can be used later. 3) Now the object is added to the library, highlight it (click on it so a red frame appears around it). Click on Export and name the file in the pop-up window. That's it. For materials and skies, go to the appropriate menu items, that is, click on the arrow beside Edit for materials, and on the arrow beside Sky & Fog for skies. Repeat steps 2 and 3. 4) But, if you want the thumbnail for your export to look diferent, you have to do things before step 3. Click on the arrow beneath the thumbnail and check Up Close to get a closeup of the object. 5) To rotate the object in the thumbnail, just click on thumbnail. Ctrl+click on the thumbnail makes it possible for you to pull the object closer *and* rotate it at the same time, while space+click enables you to move the object on straight lines to the left, right, up and down. You can do that with materials, too, but not with skies. I haven't found a way to export leaf and tree shape presets or trees. If anybody knows, please speak up. Any questions?

Funny, it was something unusual this year: lamb. It's usually turkey or suckling pig. But the lamb was great. :-)

I had spaghetti. Not traditional, but after Thanksgiving we're usually sick of turkey. :^)

alt-left click on Tree lab icon, release mouse button before alt key. The Open pop-up modal is displayed listing all the tree presets. Select and open tree. If you release alt first or at same time as mouse button, the default tree is generated. Select tree you wish to save. Press ctrl-left on Tree Lab icon, again release mouse button before ctrl key. The Save As pop-up modal is displayed. Name tree and save. Import it as above.
