Can someone here tell me who is on this render???? Let's make a little contest...The one who gets it can choose 1 item in my polymage store. But I tell you...you must be skilled to find this one:) Hint #1: She was popular in the 40's as a very wellknown singer...(like Celine, but in the late 40's) Hint #2 Those who knows me here also know that she is a personal friend of mine. Hint#3 She had a tragic life but still remain popular. Who is She??

neftis ( ) posted Sun, 28 December 2003 at 6:41 AM

Oh by the way...sorry for my really bad english.....On top of this, I had too much eggnog! LOL I'll add an hint.... She was one of the first to be broadcast at the London Tv BBC first program back in 1947... Ok let's see who can have this one :)

Hehehe I knew it would be a tough one:) Well it's none of the above so far.... The fact is that she is from Quebec, like an early Celine Dion, she was known in the 40's... Her name begins with an A They are making a movie on her life right now. It is really a tough one...I admit... By the way she is Still alive. We can buy her songs on the internet:) (I coudn't believe it when I saw this too) She had a terrible car accident in hollywood, then after that...she really had a tough time. She had an amzing life, she sang with the greatest, Sinatra, Cole Cosby etc... I admire her very much for what she's been trough. Ok nuff said...I hope one of you will find this difficult answer!!:) By the way thanks for your posts everyone! you are just wonderful to participate like this. Thank you guys! N

She made the first Television show in london for the BBC. She even survived a 'lobotomie'! can you believe this??? hehe what a diva...I tell you...a great life story this A...

The likeness is great. My fav vintage Celeb is still Barbara Eden after all these eyars. Sophia Loren and Audrey are still up there, but I adored Jeanie.
