Okay, I think everyone knows that in Bryce you can put two objects together, a positive and a negative, group them and the negative takes away from the positive. Used to make window areas, etc.... Can you do that within Poser 5? Have some great ideas for pictures but I am not happy with the way poser models look within Bryce. So can anyone tell me if you can make Boolean Objects in Poser? P.S. Thanks for all the help, you all are always so helpful :D

One small suggestion (since I don't have an answer), we love getting good questions on the forum but it is helpful to have more informative subject lines. I'll be looking forward to the answer on this one. :)

How about that Metaballs thing by Weird Juice? It runs from Python in PP and P5, but I believe it's a kinda Boolean thing.

Attached Link: Drops

Here's the link to the free download of Drops by Weird Juice. I don't think this version would do what is requested, but I wouldn't be surprised if future offerings do.

OHHHHH, how I wish Poser would do booleans! I love making furninture in Bryce, but I can't reproduce it in Poser. Diane

We do have some code for booleans/CSG in Poser using the same plug-in technology that we used for Drops and the commercial product, but we haven't integrated it at this stage as we were focused on squeezing as much out of the Drops technology as we could. Nevertheless, our plans are to add it in future products, likely within a few months for Poser and DS when the SDK becomes available. In the meantime the (very soon to be released) commercial product will allow some "boolean-like" functionality. Bill
