Hello. :) I know download accelerators do not work when downloading from DAZ, and I was wondering if this was also true of Renderosity? The reason I'm asking is that I've just purchased a product (Minotaur by sixus1) and cannot download it. My first attempt was aborted because my ISP booted me. I then tried again, and after waiting for almost 2 hours (I can only connect at 28.8) the download suddenly sped up and finished. When I tried to unzip, there was nothing there. I'm guessing it timed-out. :( I've only got one more attempt left, and I wanted to ask about accelerators before trying to do anything else. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks, Ney

Hi Ney, I reset your downloads for the Minotaur v1.1 from Sixus1. Download Accelerators and/or Managers will not work with our download system. Clint

Thank you Clint! I really appreciate it. :) That's a shame about accelerators though. I will give it another try, but at my connection speed I'm pretty sure it will time out again. My other orders have taken quite a while to download, but I didn't have any problems. But unfortunately, this one is a bit larger than the rest of them. :( If I still can't download it, would it be possible to have that order burned onto a CD? Can that be done seperately, or would it need to be cancelled and then I go through the order process again? Thanks, Ney

Woot! I tried it again and it worked! I was holding my breath at about 90% ... sure it was going to mess up again, but it didn't. It downloaded just fine! And would you believe my ISP booted me about 5 seconds after it was done? LOL! :D Next time I have a download that's larger than this one, I'll just option to have it burned to disc. :) Well, I'm off to play with my new goodies! Thanks very much Clint!
