I have a scene Im working on right now that im having a little problem with,.. I want to make the light(s) in the scene,.. these soft eerie lights that are located under the surface of the water and shine upwards onto the scene,.. around them... if this is not clear enough just tell me and I'll produce some diagrams of what Im thinking,.. :) blarghd

Hmm...something like this? Too bad Vue doesn't have radiosity, that would look terrific in a scene like this. Indirect lighting might be faked, though.

anyone know any good references for lighting.. epecially indirect lighting and faking radosity as was suggested,.. I've read a little abotu the theory of light in vue from varians site so any other suggestions would be good,.. that picture by Mixed nut is a rough Idea of what I want to do,.. though its a much closer up scene,.. well any hints or ideas where to start would be great Blarghd
