Say, while this is not really a big deal, I thought it could be of benefit. It comes up to art that is posted in the gallery. While someone who makes it to the hot 20 knows about how many votes their art gets, there is little for the other guy. So, the idea is a report or a listing on the art page that so that the author can see if he/she is getting votes and how many. Its just another form of feedback, that the artist would receive. When I thought of it, it would only be visiable to the author, as I didn't know if there would be any other use.

why? Aren't comments and ratings enough? The Poser Hot 20 is the biggest of the lot as most people, apart from the the little permanent gang who all vote for each other, really don't bother with it. If you get 1 or 2 votes in most of the other galleries you will get into the hot 20.

Maybe its the fact that I am not one that makes it very often into the top twenty in Poser Maybe its the fact that, regardless as to all the platforms that this site supports, Poser is still the biggest. Maybe its the fact that those of use that never make it to the top twenty, don't have much idea as to how much we get support. Maybe its the fact that the comments and the ratings don't do much at times, there is always someone who wants to dis- anyone's work out there. Maybe its the fact that several don't allow ratings or comments due to some of these "trolls" (By the way, I have had some leave comments that all the positive reposnse were blind, that something was phased. Of course I went back to the original pz3 file and of course it wasn't) Maybe its the fact that the vote is anonymous. Maybe its the fact that the feedback in the marketplace is changing, so that you can vote on the product. Maybe this should be changed to follow that. Maybe its the fact that I do think that it would be a better indicator of the art. But of course that is my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

I think Bluebeard has a good idea in this. Often times, one might get just under the minimum of the Hot20. Even if you get 2 votes in a gallery where 2 is the low end, because of the date sorting, you don't make it to the top 20. In the Poser gallery, sometimes the low end is 12 or more. It would be cool if you could find out that you had 11, and just missed it. I'd support such a request... ShadowWind

Hi, I was wondering if an e-bot may be sent to a person when an image of their's reaches the Hot 20. I ask this because many times when I send a memo congratulating someone for having an image in the Hot 20, after they thank me for telling them, they say that they had no notion that one of their works was even in the Hot 20 to begin with.
