Subject: Can't download

JET2003 ( ) posted Mon, 29 December 2003 at 7:04 AM · edited Tue, 23 July 2024 at 7:38 AM

Hi. I bought some items today (29/12/03). However, I haven't been able to download anythings yet. Reading through the messages posted here, I'm so surprized to know that this situation happens commonly. I really wonder if it is really safe to buy something here. Since I'm accessing from Non-English speaking country, this makes me real nervous. Please activate my purchases. Thanks. JET2003

Hi JET2003, This is for first time buyers only and is noted on the Check out page, send to you via E-Mail as well as listed in the Customer Support FAQ located in this forums announcement section. Its to protect the buyer as well as us from potential credit card abuse. I will activate your downloads as soon as we receive the requested first time buyer infromation.. First time buyers (Credit Card and Debit Card) 1) Credit or Debit card. As part of our verification process we ask that you send us the toll free or security number off the back of your credit card along with your Renderosity member name. When we have this information, we'll be happy to activate your purchase. All future Credit and Debit card purchases will be available for immediate downloading. This information should be sent to the Store E-Mail. store@renderosity.com Clint

Dear Clint, Thank you very much for your quick reply. The security number! Mmmm, that was one thing I wasn't sure about. What is it actually? My card has 16 digit number as usual and I typed them. However, it has 4 digit number off the front of my card and 7 digit number off the back. Though I asked my card company, they're not sure about my question at all. What should I do? Regards, JET2003

Hi Jet, The 7 Digit number on the back should be broken down into 2 sets of numbers. One set with 3 numbers and the other with 4 numbers. The one with 3 numbers is whats needed...or just send all 7 numbers from the back. Clint

Wow, great! I've just sent my e-mail with the info to "Store@Renderosity.com". I surely put wrong number through the purchasing process. I really hope that it works this time. JET2003
