Hey all the poser people :) Never posted a Wip but I really want to get this image perfect. Here's the prob though I got that far but somthing is missing. I made some brushes in PS7 and used them but I cant seem to get that 'Its done' feeling. Also colour is bugging me. Cant seem to get the right colour on the black its either to bright or to dark :s I really want to get that creepy feeling ;) Thats why I cant use bright blue or green. What do you all think this pic needs ? Any critiscm is appreciated. Happy Rend's ~GI

Oh my god GI thats really good! Only thing I would suggest would be to maybe add some red around her stitches...make them look fresh and a little more 3D. And maybe some color around where the skin is being pulled...to show it stretching or however you spell it. Glad your getting some use out of the textures too :)

I agree with Mel... it looks great so far, My advise is to add some scarring around the stitches. Just curious, what size & resolution did you render at ? Thomas

Gothic-Ice ( ) posted Tue, 30 December 2003 at 6:27 PM

'what size & resolution did you render at?' I honestly dont know :s I just change size till it seems right lol. I did however change the image quality when I saved it as a jpg :) @ Melory. Think I'm gonna use her alot in my stuff really like how she looks :) Thanks for the advice I'll try it. Never tried somthing like this before though :)

Update lol. Just did a quick check. Width 640 pixels Height 591 pixels Resulution 72.000 pixels

Smitthms ( ) posted Tue, 30 December 2003 at 6:34 PM

To get a better, crisper image, I render at 1800x1800 @ 300dpi, & save it as a TIFF, then do My postwork in Photoshop. At 1800x1800, its way easier to control & get the effects you want. Then, I just shrink it for My gallery :o) Thomas

Smitthms ( ) posted Tue, 30 December 2003 at 6:37 PM

Altho, I render in the main window @ 600x600, till I have it ready for the final image ;o) Thomas

Gothic-Ice ( ) posted Tue, 30 December 2003 at 6:54 PM

Umm for the slower people what is : 1800x1800 @ 300dpi ? 1800 is the width and height and 300dpi is... ? Sorry for being slow :0)

resolution :o)

This is very good. I see what you mean about a finished look. I think part of the problem may be that the bikini bottoms still look separate. The garment should be one piece. (A very odd piece--which may require some post--but one nonetheless). The two bottoms appear to have been sewn between and into the two bodies. Kinda difficult to remove for your basic Frankensteinish personal hygiene. Very interesting idea. Very creepy too :0

Mark, you nailed it for me. I couldn't figure out what was "wrong" there. LOL Gothic, awesome image. I'm a fan of the darker, creepier images and this is right up my alley! =) I do agree that there needs to be blood around the stitches and especially on the open wounds. Also, where the two necks meet, right above the set of stitches, I would maybe blend it together rather than have it look like they are seperated there. I don't know, something looks "off" in that area. Have you considered adding a glowing light behind them? Or perhaps one coming up from underneath them? One last comment, I think that you can use bright blue and green and still achieve a creepy look. =) I can't wait to see the final image, I can tell it's going to rock!!

After fixing the 2 things that were said here that really bother me when I look at this (the bikini and the neck area), try duplicating the layer and play around with the blending mode. Try "overlay" and try playing around with the hue/saturation on one of the layers (ctrl+u). That can bring out the "finishing touch" out of the image quite nicely. :) Excellent work on the stiches, BTW. I really like it! :)

I give you LIFE !!!!! <(O.o)> Hehe now I have that its done feeling. The thong thing is still kinda bugging me but thats the best I can do...for now anyway. Thanks for the advice how does it look now ? Happy Rend's ~GI

Gothic-Ice ( ) posted Wed, 31 December 2003 at 8:49 AM

Oh by the way LovePyrs. I tried to change the neck but I didnt like the results so I kept them seperate. Also I added a light underneath them and it really helped. Hope you all like it. Thanks again. ~GI

Heh nah I cant be botherd to upload it now. I'll add it to my site as soon as I get time :) Glad you like it.

Lyrra ( ) posted Wed, 31 December 2003 at 10:33 AM

well now that you're done and all .. thought of doing it with two different skintones? kind of a yin-yang thing? also, if the thong thing is one piece it should go straight across and not curve up in the middle very weird image .. neat idea :)

Batronyx ( ) posted Wed, 31 December 2003 at 10:00 PM

Well, if YOU think it's done, then it is. Ever a step behind, I was going to point out that everything said 'pain' except their facial expressions and would have suggested dialing in a little more anguish. I like it otherwise.

Gothic-Ice ( ) posted Thu, 01 January 2004 at 10:05 AM

Nah they were meant to look like that. They had to be emotionless :) The image is named Super-Model Even seen a super models face ? lol they all look like plastic. Thanks for ur point of view. Happy Rend's ~GI

Well! The title makes all of the difference. That's twisted. It put a big smile on my face. :D
