Sorry, don't have time to go and look individual pictures, so, kinda general advice: take more care with textures. Also, from what I've seen on thumbnails, more care of what the picture shows. That is, put something in focus, do not create kinda general picture. there is a nice tut out there on composition, but I cannot find the link. (Isn't it always the case? :-)) AgentSmith put a link to a "how to create a good landscape" tutorial in spotlight link of the week some time ago, try to find it. As for inspiration ... well, read, listen to music, see films, see old masters, take a walk ... you'll certainly find something that will strike your fancy and that you can try to recreate in Bryce. Or improve on the subject. :-) Hope this helps.

Yup, that one, thanks. And the link on composition is above.-- erlik
There is some very nice work in there. I find that a surf through the galleries can spark ideas, I'll see something that I like and it will start me thinking of something (usually very different) that I would like to do. Surfing around through the free section and around other sites to see what objects are available can inspire ideas as well. I go through dry spells, too, so I can offer sympathy. :^) John

The deep texture editor is a scarey place at first, but you should just go in there and play with settings, applying to say a simple square, render them and save the ones you like in the users mats. Once you get used to it it's very easy to adapt Bryce textures and get something special that's all your own. 8) Catlin
