Bad media errors when importing poser figures can often be caused by the texture names. Bryce does not like long file names. Try renaming your textures. I forget what the limit is on the characters, but keep them as short as possible. This may help.

Sometimes when I import a poser figure with clothing into Bryce I get a "bad media file" error. Importing the figure into UV mapper and exporting it again works great, but then the figure has no textures. I'm new to using UV mapper so I'm not sure if there's a way to map the textures and export them with the model so they will automatically load into Bryce with the figure. It would sure save a lot of time though!
