Hi all, I'm still grappling furiously with the "Heavenly Hair" Photoshop brushes, and still not getting great results. I've attached an image of Steph 3 with one "dab" of the fringe brush applied. As you can see, its thin and transparent. How do I get from this to a thick lustrous fringe such as can be seen in Spectre3's ad for his "Maria" textures in the marketplace (this is merely an example) ?? regards, Andrew

you can duplicate the layer till you get the depth you wish or you can give a slight blocking in under it tweeking out the opacity till you get what you want then use the fring over it in a slightly darker shade to give the depth and highlight you are wishing.

Thanks again for your help, Dark Elegance. I'll get there eventually ! I find that duplicating the layer makes it too dark, so I opted for your second suggestion and it has worked really well for the fringe. I also added a bit of dodge and burn for further highlights. As you can see from the image, I've still got to work out what should go on the sides :)
