I modeled this dress in Wings 3d, mapped it in uvmapper, conformed it in Poser Wizard, and now I am stuck. When I open it in Poser, I get this odd dark band around various parts of the dress. Does anyone know why this is or how it can be fixed?

Its smoothing....best thing to do would be make a knife cut just above the hem to sharpen the edge up a little....if you look at the images you'll see the cut in the wireframe and the result in the solid image......Steve

Take it back into uv mapper and use the 'split vertices' command. mac

I got a question regarding the Wings 3d if you can help. It says that i can make my own clothing for any poser character in Wings 3d is it right ??? And if so is there any tutorials which can help me in that cause i need to have some clothing for my millennium baby.
