I feel like it's comparing apples to oranges, really. One is Stephanie, female character of Michael 2 and one is Stephanie Petite, small female unimesh character, not even intended as a Steph "upgrade" per se. That being said, I prefer the old Stephanie's more rugged, masculine (she IS a Michael morph after all) appearance. But, my renders normally use strong, somewhat amazonian sword-swingers. Steph 1's inherently long, thin nose and cut jawline just beg for those characters. But, on the other hand SP's appearance is perfect for what she is intended to be, a young, petite woman with a fresh face. I think her features, while lovely out-of-the-box, are generic enough that one could easily build new characters out of her without fighting to lose the "Stephanie Petite" look.
Steph 1.0 masculine? Nah... (NUDITY WARNING) http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=298974&Start=49&Artist=Spanki&ByArtist=Yes ;). Steph 3.0 petite young woman? Well ok, maybe... (NUDITY WARNING) http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=566971&Start=1&Artist=Spanki&ByArtist=Yes

"I bet they took a page out of the bible (Adam & Eve)." I've actually heard discussions right along those lines. Some people seem to have been upset that they weren't getting a brand new mesh and didn't seem to see that what they got was a fantastic new character. And then the argument was revived with the whole Unimesh system. I feel, if it looks good, I don't care where it came from. You turn Posette's shoe into the Millenium Horse and I'll still buy it, if it looks nice and works well. If it's texture-compatible with her shoe, I'll have to talk with the artist tho.

I also prefer Stephanie to SP because she's wonderful for my fantasy images and with textures and clothing like Michaelyn, the Enchantress by Cin- she's gorgeous! I've noticed more textures and clothing being made for her of late, which is great to see.FlyByNight

I like the new Stephanie Petite, it just seems to me that I could never really change Steph 1's face, it always had that sharp nose. Steph Petite need not be petite you know, and once you transfer all of V3's morphs to her, you can do just about anything.Content Advisory! This message contains nudity

S3 is smoother than S1. You can create better a young woman. I prefer S3 more than S1. MazakAttached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=476021&Start=1&Artist=queri&ByArtist=Yes
I think the original stephanie can look quite fetching, see link, but she was always a bit brittle in her joints see link also. I still use her a great deal, she doesn't take up as many polys and has a quirky nature. Haven't played that much with stephpetite but I like what I've seen. Let's vote on who's Miss Beauty Queen. I think Stephanie is more beautiful than 3.0. Now I'm not talking about software features. 3.0 has more of a simple look (but that could change in render(s)) - anyway, we liked the original better.
