I`ve heard that i can make my own clothing with Wings 3D so i downloaded the software and i had one tuorials which guide me in using it but when i did the steps in that tutorials i had miss some thing thats not happened with me which that when i export the OBJ from poser model and import them in Wings 3D i can not see the body or the real object name which i had exported from poser into Wings 3D Outliner window so for that i can not complete the tutorial step. The tutorial Link : http://www.poserpython.com/ClothTut1-1.html So can any one have used the Wings 3D helps me in solving that thing?

There are people on the Wings 3D forum who have created clothing. You might want to post there as well, if you haven't already. They are another wonderfully helpful group.

If you find any more tutorials on creating clothing, by the way, feel free to come back and post them. People are always looking for them. :)

let's see if I have this right..you're exporting from Poser into Wings? one thing you'll run into is scale..look down..way down, Poser stuff comes into Wings at almost a tenth the size it was in Poser..similarly, putting Wings props into Poser may require reducing the export size quite a lot (all I've made is a few helmets and a cape, but they wound up big enough to be used as canoes..;) Another thing is based on which format you import into Poser, or export, the x,y,z coordinates get turned around depending on whether you're using .obj or .3ds. Have the URL of the tutorial, but haven't tried it yet..hope it works..I'm going to get around to it one of these days myself..;) good luck.

In 3DSMax you've got to enlarge Poser figures by 1000 to be able to see them. So I guess the same would apply to Wings. 8) Catlin

Wings, File > import > wavefront (.0bj) > click on small box > Import Scale 20,0 Export Scale 0.05 now it will work.
