Subject: I really, really need this necklace...please help?

LovePyrs ( ) posted Sun, 04 January 2004 at 3:53 PM · edited Mon, 20 January 2025 at 11:18 AM

Hi! I have been searching and searching for a necklace like the one pictured here...a long leather cord with a cross pendant. The one pictured is like the perfect length, it falls right between the breasts, but the cross isn't big enough. Plus it is part of a clothing set thingy that I really don't need. Please, can someone help me out here? Please, oh please? gets on her knees begging

Is this for a still? Create the cross from primitives and paint the cord.

Or paint the entire thing, for that matter. If it's not a difficult angle, it shouldn't be too complicated. I could try and give you a hand, if you like.

Cross earrings by nikitacreed at RuntimeDNA free section. Cross Choker by GeorgeD at RuntimeDNA free section. The image that you have shown is for a product by RuntimeDNA called DNA Cyber Girl for Victoria. Here is a product link http://www.runtimedna.com/catalog.ez?ShowProduct=MW%2D008&TopElement=0 The cross necklace is not a freebie or availble outside of that product. You might try contacting someone at RunttimeDNA and ask them about who modeled it and if you can purchase just the necklace but I doubt they can break it up, it's not something usually done. making a cross is pretty simple using Poser primatives, making the rope would be a bit tricky.

I have a cross that I downloaded for free awhile ago. But I don't have the zip anymore, and I can't find a readme, so I'm not sure I can give it out. (if it's even something you're interested in) Does anyone know where this was once available. (I think it was here)

Oops. Forgot to mention. The rope, and each part of the cross can be a different color/texture.

If none of these suggestions are what you're looking for, then I can model one for you (non-posable).

Is this what you need? It's made for V1-2 but could probably be tweaked to fit any of the other figures. If so, IM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Look at soft breasts. Look at sharp arms of cross. Look at odds of falling, reaching, breathing, hugging. Look at box of bandages and wonder whether to buy stock in the maker. Carolly (And yes, I do wear necklaces against bare skin)

Thank you all for your replies! I really appreciate your help. =) English Bob over at PoserPros gave me a link to a cross necklace that is going to work wonderfully! (see attached link)

Thank you for the kind words and for the link. The paperdolls are the work of Sheryl Knowles (who I hope to attract to Renderosity). We've worked together for more than a decade at various companies and she's a neat lady as well as very talented costumer. The buttons I'm wearing (and the stack on the table which I cropped off) are the work of Don Simpson, who has aliens in the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum. I've been trying to attract him here, too. Everything else in the booth is mine, including 4 of those blue panels full of prints. The Spring (the lady knitting the stream) is my signature piece. If that was in the show, it meant that I was around somewhere. :) Back to paperdolls, part of what I'm trying to tell Sheryl is that our Poser people are just like 3d paperdolls: they need clothing, too. And then they need to be posed with an attitude to reflect their job or personality. She is a founding member of an international paperdoll collector's club (I'm not sure of its exact name), and some of her creations are simply incredibly ingenuous. There are lots of ways to stick those paper clothes on a model so that the tabs don't show. Having technical as well as artistic abilities makes for really good design. I've done only a few paperdolls, and most were lost. (My designs for stained glass have lasted longer in use.) I still have some cut-paper snowflakes (if you saw my entry in the Renderosity contest, it uses a dozen of them for the Christmas card). I enjoy assembling 3d paper castles a lot, too, and will someday design one of my own: suitable for a lady wizard with too many books and too many cats. Carolly
