MarketPlace Showcase F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 14 8:53 am)
Your shots do not really show much detail.....as such it makes the skin tone look simply like one simple base colour and not so appealing. Perhaps if you showed a couple of close-up shots which can highlight some of the details, this would make it more interesting. However if you plan this for sale, this should be moved to the products showcase forum (Lord knows they dont like people asking for feedback here :P )
if this a potential for sale product then you should post it in the product showcase forum.
Trying this again. I just tried to post this really nice info to assist you with your character and lost it all, due to an IE error. I'll try to remember everything. Shain, I think you are off to an excellent start. His body shape is fantastic!! I like the skin as it appears in the natural subdued light. Very surreal but life like. FyreSpiryt mentioned some Poser Pro characters Nicodemus and Malahkei, I have these plus the Pro Club Garrett by Neo10. All of these are along the same lines, but you have a chance to have something really different. I think you should have a natural realistic skin tone along with the demon like supernatural surreal skin tone. But if not and you just want the supernatural skin, adding some tattoo mats always helps. Also adding different eye colors and make-up choices. The goatee is also a nice touch, but looks flat right now. It would be a good facial alternative. Also the eyebrows look a little lost. Maybe you could add an extra mat pose that would angle them a bit and then flex down. Also add a tad more thickness. Some of the characters you might get some inspiration from are at the Poser Pro, Pro Club, Little Miss Macabre V3, Gothic Angle's Kassandra for V3, Serpentis Riamius for M3, and my favorites Cin's Leanansidhe V3 and Princess of Darkness and Light V3. This is probably more than you wanted to hear, but I think you have a nice character going here with some nice clothing textures that you could add, for those that have purchased those products (maybe, with the owner's permission) I'd like to see you continue with it. As I said earlier you are definitely off to a great start! I'd like to see the finished product, or as you go along. I always buy things that are versatile and worth the money purchased.
