Thanks, peeps! After some more fiddling i'm getting a blue sky. Here's what was happening: For haze color i was using H:26/S:60/L:110. That makes the sky a black color. When i change the saturation to 0, Bryce changes the hue to 160 (after exiting the color picker), which is a blue. I tried keeping the hue at 26 with S:0, but it doesn't stay that way (hmmm). I now get a nice fading blue. I may have to forego the yellow haze part. It looks nice as it is.

Oops typo^^^^ supposed to be boxes, not coxes. I believe from my experience that they have more control than just in the skylab. I am no expert by any means, but this is how I change them. Also I made a tutorial for skies: See link.Painting: The art of protecting flat surfaces from the weather and exposing them to the critic_____website
Thanks, amethyss. I'll check out your tutorial. I can easily see at least a couple controls that aren't in the skylab. I'll look at it more closely later. Roch222: yes, but your sky is black. As in my earlier post about how i fixed the situation, it seems that the yellow haze makes the blue sky black. Also, i don't want to color the sun because i don't want everything to look yellow. Currently, my sun color is R:G:B 60:60:60 - pretty dark because i'm trying to get my objects dark. Ambience is 0:0:0. I'm making some headway, but slowly.
LOL Roch222... How long does your PC take to start up.try Start>run>msconfig>Starup sometime and take a peek.Looking at your task bar.Like 20 programs staring up each boot up.

I think i started with "Because the Night" sky preset, added stars, changed the haze color, added fog.... Even if i put the sun at high noon, the sky is still black. How can i change that? I'm trying to get yellowish haze fading into dark blue sky with stars. I've run into this before and have never found where to change the sky color. They must have done something to make it only ever black, but i'm scratching my head on this one. Anyone?
