Subject: Where Can I Find Mac OS8 Folder Icons For Poser4 and Bryce4

Hi, Folks! I wonder why all the last versions of MetaCreations graphics software use the old flat Mac System 7 folder icons rather than the 3D folder icons introduced with OS 8? I finally got around to installing the Bryce 4 upgrade I bought several months ago, and as I suspected, the application folder icon is flat like the old Sys 7 style. Can any of y'all Mac users at the Forum suggest a web site where I can download Copland style folder icons for the following applications: Infini-D 4.5, RayDream Studio 5, Poser 4 and Bryce 4. If you also know where I can get one for Toast 4 Ill love you for life!! Thanx Peter Armstrong (Dr Zik)

A number of programs use the flat type. I don't mind. I would check out iconplanet to get a bunch of links ... trying to remember ones but I am not sure. I normally skip the os related ones so can't help yu .. sorry

Click on the icon you want to use -- do a get info on it (Command I). Click on the icon in the info window. Copy it (Command C). Either paste it directly onto the icon of Bryce or Photoshop or paste it first into the graphics program of your choice. Add in the Bryce or Poser logo. Then copy and paste the changed icon onto the icon in the Get Info window of either Bryce or Poser.
