Subject: Magnet Help

Had a question, After i take a poser fig. and morph him using the magnets. How do I extract the morphs from that character to be able to use on a new fig. Please help....

In Poser: Once you have spawned the magnets into morphs and haved deleted the magnets. Set the value on the morphs and zero everything else (in other words set the dials so that part/element of the figure is the way you want it to look in the morph when you export it. Go to file/export obj in the export hierarchy uncheck the universe (this will clear everything) than check just the element (ie: head) you wish to export. Clear all the setting in the obj export window except export as morph target only. Export (and save) obj to any file name you like. To import obj, click on (ie: head) element of figure and open the properties menu for the element - then load morph target, find morph, give it a name and add it to your figure. MorphManager is a utility in freeStuff, by Mason I believe, and it makes moving morphs from one figure to another much simplier and faster so you might want to download and use it instead - I gave the Poser method only in reply to the question you asked and not necessarily as the best method.

Thanks for the help, ill give it a try in poser and then I'll look-up the Morphmanager. Give that a shot as well.
