It doesn't require any software besides Poser. Basically, it's like a stage. The textures are applied to it.ahh!! i think i know where this is getting at! :) you mean like a wall and a ground combined? so you can add a texture to the prop and can cast shadows on it? hmmm...extremely useful for composites right? so instead of layering your shadows in APS you can directly cast shadows on your prop provided you have the appropriate background texture....hmmm...pretty interesting..... does anyone have renders using this product? please post...i wanna see this in action....thanks in advance!! =)

Its awesome Biggert and the woodland playset is double awesome LOL...its one of those things you just "a new add on is out buy it"..at least i do ;o)....here it is in use..SteveHere's a simple render I did of the P4 horse on the Cyclorama. It's wearing EdW's tack.
Very useful item. If you have Poser 5 with SR3 installed you can use atmosphere settings with it. Since the atmospere settings must use a background (the Poser Void does not work with atmospere), this is a great tool to pop into a scene, hide the extra planes, and render away. You don't even have to use a texture map for it. This product mimics the backdrop setup photographer's use sometimes for full body shots.

I make heavy use of the Cyclorama and similar props in my renders. Out of my rather small gallery the pictures "Come Up and See Me Sometime" and "His Own Magic" are the only two that DON'T use either the Cyclorama or another backdrop prop. They're very handy and look great if used correctly! :)

Actually, it's a simplistic prop that's basically two rectangular planes meeting in an "L" shape with a curve at the joining point. I was disappointed when I got it because the Woodland Realm sets, with better transparency mapped plants and real 3D tree trunks, resulted in more realistic renders. The Cyclorama is only marginally more realistic than using photo backgrounds on primitive Poser blocks.
The Woodland Realm sets are newer and better done. I suspect they are more resource-intensive, though. However, there are some really nice textures for the Cyclorama. I got it for that reason alone. I love the "Heart of the Forest" texture set. I wouldn't pay the regular price for the Cyclorama, but if you're a member of the PC, it's worth $1.99. :-)
