Content Advisory! This message contains nudity

OK now fellas...put you tongues back in, and stop howling.

This question goes to all you clothing modellers...has anyone modelled some thing like this for V2?

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

nude thing is getting old in renderosity

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 2:21 AM

...has anyone modelled some thing like this for V2? I don't believe so, but Baron_Vlad_Harkonnen and BATLAB have some similar designs in their stores, and nerd has such an item for Posette here in Free Stuff.

JVRenderer ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 2:25 AM

Billy-t has a set similar to what you want, but it's for V3. see: Sculpture Suit & Ultra bikini set JV. Rendo's poser forum has gone to the dogs. -Waldo-'s comment is not helping, and I wonder why he even reads this thread marked "nudity", if he's so against nudity.

I looked at images to study on qualities of good use with Poser for art. I was impressed with few good images regardless nude or not. Some people used poser for dogs and abused it especially renderosity's website. I am more interested in quality and want to gather message to members and hopefully that they will post more good use images for purpose of art not for dogs.

-Waldo- ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 2:56 AM

LOL I am not in any of extremeists. Its just that the images are very poor. It did not refelect to me at all because it has no art in it.

God Man!....If I would have known the trouble this would have caused, I wouldn't have asked the damn question,or posted the freaking immage. It seem like there's a nut in every forum nowdays.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

Exactly like it.... VaVoom by Nerd in freestuff...here is the link to his site. Not sure if this is for Vic or Posette..(you can always use VicP4). SWAMP

galactron22 ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 4:46 AM

Yup...that's for possete. Actually I'm asking this question, beacuse I'm learning how to use Rhino to model clothing and props. I have several things that I want to model written down, and this piece of clothing is one of many I hadn't seen for V2. Of course Victoria ha lots os striperish clothing, not that I'm complaining, I'm just thinking "one more couln't hurt".

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

Phantast ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 4:56 AM

I have at my site textures and transmaps for turning the P4 leotard into something like this (including the stars and stripes). Where it fails, and the Nerd VaVoom fails in a similar way, is at the back. If you look at the photo above, the back of the costume is quite taut, whereas Poser versions follow the curve of the spine (which is mechanically impossible).

Phantast ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 4:58 AM

Incidentally, I believe the technical term for this item is "slingshot thong".

galactron22 ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 5:28 AM

Thanks for the correction Phantas. I'm thinking it coud be done.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

SWAMP ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 5:44 AM

And I though they were suspenders.... Good luck with Rhino....I've got version3,and really having a hard time coming to terms with it. SWAMP

Marque ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 6:20 AM

I wonder how it's going to work in the back, where it is away from her body. It would have to be a model and not just a transmap on the catsuit right? Just wondering, Marque

galactron22 ( ) posted Sun, 11 January 2004 at 6:32 AM

yes...it would have to be a model. As far as bending and twisting, morphs would have to be used.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

I don't but it is something like this. This is the P4 leotard version. The picture is an old one, I'm embarrassed by the poor quality of the render.

I didn't see the pic... Is this what you were talking about. I've had this laying around for a while... got side tracked and never finished it. If this will work let me know and I'll finish it up and put it on my site for you. Ed

Just a pic of the back Ed

Phantast ( ) posted Tue, 13 January 2004 at 2:33 AM

That's the sort of thing, only the version in question had the shoulder straps meeting high up so that a single thong runs down at the back, and it wasn't quite so brief at the front.
