First: Always best to check with the item creator. They can tell you what they mean, specifically. Generally speaking, though, "For personal use only" means that you can use it in any renders that you do for your own purposes but which you do NOT sell or profit from in any way. Just as an example, I do character illustrations for people, and I do charcter-based web design now and then. When I do that, I am always very careful NOT to use any downloaded freebies that may have restrictions on how the render can be used. If I put something that's "for personal use only" into an image I sell to a client, I'm violating the terms of use. Make sense? You can put images you make using those items in the gallery here or elsewhere, generally speaking. Usually when people say "for personal use only" they just mean "don't make money with it". Again, it's best to check with the item creator, though, to be sure. bonni

Someone's gone through the whole "What credit does the original artist get?" thing, also. Normally, you'd ask them... heh... which could turn out good or bad... However... you put something giving them credit without including them in the "Colaboration" effect. Like... "Using texture by such and such"

What I want to know is, when I put a 3D picture from me here in the gallery and some of the 3D objects and characters(which I do not have created) I used are "for personal use only", will this be OK or not?
