Heyas, I'm looking for the excellent Bryce DTE tutorial "deep textured tutorials' to show a student. Unfortunately my link for it is dead, and all other links also appear dead. Is this tutorial gone? does anyone know where it has fetched up? Is there a similar tutorial for component based DTE procedural texture creation that anyone can suggest? any help is much appreciated :) Thanks! Lyrra

Wade thank you .. its is an excellent tutorial .. but not the one I was looking for. :) The site I was thinking of had an image of a science fiction harvesting machine scooping watermelons and the tutorials were: some kind of leaves from lattices, lattice treestump with altitude sensitive materials for different textures on sides and top, and importantly one called "rusty decay" which walks through each step of making a material from using noise to make components and upwards. thanks you very much for your time and the tutorial! if I can't find the one I was looking for I think this one will also help my student a great deal :) Lyrra

Okay, Lyrra I have those two, one's called CycadLeaf, and the other Rusted Decay, with pipes, let me get them fixed up, all the pics were in one folder and don't show correctly, this was before I realized that the browser saved everything for you....I'll get them to you tomorrow...
