EEUWWWW.....that aint hot man....not at all!! maybe in France but NOT IN THESE GLORIOUS UNITED STATES!! juz kiddin....but hey man...if thats your thing then that's your thing... well the easiest way is to just paint it in your texture and make a bump map....pretty easy to do.... havent seen a prop yet....

raven ( ) posted Mon, 12 January 2004 at 12:29 PM

I'm pretty sure there was a prop of this type, though I can't remember where. It may have been for Michael. Also, by using the nudity/violence flags for nothing, you hide the post from people who have those filters enabled, and one of those may have the answer you look for!

There was one long ago; search in freestuff and Marketplace. It was hair props for Dork, both pubic and underarm, but it could be scaled down a bit. And frankly, it would be nice if there were newer props of that type. Doing it by texture painting has been done, and it doesn't show unless you stick the arm straight up and point.

Poser 5 hair room would do the trick.

There was one for Mike at GPA, which I'm sure could be scaled down for Vic.

Suggestion: Go to RDNA, free section, download the bodyhair brushes. Then you can add bodyhair to any of the textures you have (at least, if you have Photoshop or a version of PSP that will open them). And it's free.

Tagame did a prop to fit Michael. It needs some manipulation to be used with Victoria. Pdxjims helped me some time ago to go through it and I'm using it on some of my models rather succesfully (follow link to relevant thread). But I agree with FireSpiryt that probably the easiest way is to use bodyhair brushes.

What's wrong with body hair? :roll eyes: It is more unnatural to shave or pluck it. Who wants to look like a boiled egg?

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Tue, 13 January 2004 at 4:11 AM

Carolly, probably the same people who thinks it is NATURAL to cut off part of their skin on a certain bodypart. I've heard that even some MEN prefers the boiled egg look nowadays, so they shave ALL OVER ICK I'm not into regular BEARS as such, but it's what inside the hairs that counts L And Robin Williams is cute GG

:chuckle: I guy I was dating years and years ago needed an appendectomy. They shaved everything. He was so embarrassed to be hairless. Hair is fun in play in. 🤷 There are some people who live in sterile stripped bare to the walls homes, too. Carolly

Just a sidenote... "EEUWWWW.....that aint hot man....not at all!! maybe in France but NOT IN THESE GLORIOUS UNITED STATES!!" In France too a girl who doesn't shave these before going to the beach would meet some rather funny looks. Let's not even mention the infamous "mustache on your bikini suit" joke :p

hauksdottir ( ) posted Tue, 13 January 2004 at 9:06 PM

The latest Newsweek has an article about guys getting their testicles... waxed! I could understand the use of Nair or even shaving (although perhaps the thought of razer blades around sensitive areas is nerve-wracking for some men). However, waxing pulls hairs out by their roots! Major Ouch! Carolly

Oooh. I bet that's producing pitches previously though unattainable by human vocal cords.

The operators of the hair-removal parlors say thay they've had to pull a couple guys off the ceiling. ;^)

Thanks everybody you have been a great help, I will try the Maikel hair trick. b.t.w. Simon Templar liking or disliking armpit hair is a personal thing not restricted by borders so i am shure even in THESE GLORIOUS UNITED STATES!! there are people who like it.Also i think getting upset by what other people like or dislike is a sign of somones own uncertenty.

I followed the tutorial PDXJims gave in the link Panko supplied - and have a question. In #12 of the tut: Load the bones from a V3 clothing top - any recomendations? I experimented, using the FMD, the Array top and was able to make it conform with both - but I lost the morphs native to the armpit hair? Did I do something wrong?
