Perfect! Now that looks like a tear - and not a tear (bad pun and deliberate play on words)- running down his check. Great job. Rob

Nice lighting work Gabe. The eyes are gripping but the tear is somewhat disorienting because it looks like it is defying gravity. Though it sounds like I missed an earlier thread & I'm sure someone asked already, but what texture & bum map have you used?

The eyes are in the renderosity store, and the texture is called "subhash skin", and I tweeked with it a bit to get it to look right. I also made the bumpmap by tweeking the same texture. -Gabe-

funny. my daughter was crying yesterday, and her tears wer coming out the other side. (like the previous photo) how?

I acualy can answer that. I've done alot of work with tears and emotion in photography over the years, and it is a simple matter of angle of the head is forward or facing down the tear will drop from the center, simply because gravaty will pull it that way. If the head is facing up the angle of the eye changes in relation to gravity and it will drop from the out side of the eye. Eye shape also has to do with this too, but that gets more complicated. The tear will tend to go twards the lowest elevation. Hay well I hope you enjoy me peace of usless information! -Gabe- By the way Subhash skin I think is in the free stuff page somewhere. I can't remember who made it though. (Feeling a bit guilty about that...)
