Looks pretty cool

You need to make a door frame for the door :) -Colt

It would be even scarier with some shackles on the wall. Looks great. Gives me the chills. Melanie

Very Cool! I WANT IT! I agree tho, there should definately be a frame around the door! =)

rescale the arch.. instant door frame... sigh Another thing to add to the "when I get paid" list... ) great work PD.... )

That's just what I hand in mind Wizzard. The door was actually made to fit in the arch, I just showed the arch at a larger scale here so you could see it better. Other things wrong with the render: You might notice that not all of the walls have the same textures applied. This is to show the extra textures included. Melanie: In the top left of the picture, just above and left of the steps there is a single wall loop. This was made with shackles in mind, but with so much shackle/torture etc stuff being available from Renderotica for free, and at such good quality too, I didn't think it right to make any more and sell them, because I knew people would only be buying them because they were part of the kit. I may make some in the future and give them away as my monthly freebie. Thanks all for the response.

You know I have an actual stone rooms in my home, if you want I can sent you some snapshots that you can make textures out of it :) Before anyone say's anything NO im not some sick-o porn star but I happen to live in a stone house. So sue me :)

Thanks for the offer ColtCentaur, but I already have thousands of photos to play around with, I'm afraid any more would just get lost in the clutter of my hard disc.

You know, this is the SECOND time someone has taken one of my ideas and rushed it through production to get it out ahead of me. For pics of my dungeon kit, which will be finished soon, take a look here... http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=151312

Brainmuffin: Personaly I yours a lot better, eveything is the correct scale and looks good. (Still no door frame!) but I hope you see why I never post 'Comming Soon' projects on this board. -Colt

Yes Colt, It's something I'm going to avoid in the future... and thank you.... What kind of doorframe do you want? wood? It does have a stone frame right now....

ColtCentaur ( ) posted Sat, 02 September 2000 at 7:10 PM

99.9% of the time there is a wooden doorframe. However the doorframe can be attached to a fancy stone frame for added detail.

BrainMuffin - Sorry you think I stole your idea, but I was working on little bits of this long before you even mentioned it in a post. A door frame - ok you all want a door frame, I'll post a free one just as soon as it is finished, along with some manacles/shackles too, though you can easily get very good pairs of manacles at renderotica too. Scale - ColtCentaur, I haven't actually spend any time an a dungeon so I wouldn't know:) If you are talking about the individual images, they are not render in scale at all, they are just there to show what is in the kit. There is no person in the scene to compare the scale to, though if you look closely at the small pic of the cage you will see that there is a skeleton in there.

The free doorframe is now available through the following direct link, you will not be able to see it on the site, so you must use this link. http://www6.ewebcity.com/pdblake/DoorFrame.zip It will be available for 1 week only, I will take it down on 10th september to replace it with the shackles/manacles.
