Thanx all. :) Heres how the lights were set. The camera is about where the top light red radial is. I also added some red and white flares in Universe. (bottom of the first pic)

Havent actually tried smartpipe so im not sure. First, i was going to do the wires in Cinema, (second on the top pic), and doing the wires were no problem, but getting nice curves was. So i went back to good olBryce and used segments of bryce-wires to build "it".

Awesome! Is the background a photo of a previous model you made or is it modelled in the one scene? Like with lightwave and plates...

shadowdragonlord ( ) posted Sun, 18 January 2004 at 6:15 PM

Ridiculous! YOur scenes are so complex and intricate, i'm sure it all seems simple to you, but the rest of us are sitting in awe!

Pipes drive me nuts, lol. But, you almost can't have sci-fi without them. Or chains. Or similar. Thanks for the WIP's, always interesting to see scenes built up! CG Channel is promo-ing a few of your pics again (at the bottom of their website) http://www.cgchannel.com/ AgentSmith

Pipes are indeed very suiting for scifi. :) Thanx man, i noticed the images. Nice to see them next to Alp Altiners work too, one of my favourite artists. :) If you havent checked his gallery out, i highly recommend it. Beanzvision, The tower-like structures in the first set of pics is used for the background. A WIP that i never found any use for, until now. Just made some color corrections and gave it some blur.
