Subject: P5, INJ Morphs, and remote Runtimes...

I've finally started using P5, V3, and remote Runtimes, and ran into the problems all of us "newbies" have hit... that INJ Morphs in remote runtimes either hang P5 or take forever.

If you want to keep your files in a remote runtime, There does seem to be a simple fix, however. Everything that I've read in the forums says to install all of your files into the main P5 runtime directory to avoid the hanging/slow down problem. However, if you just move the folder that holds the actual injection morph scripts (!DAZ) to the main runtime, this seems to solve the problem. My INJ morphs load quickly (in a few seconds), and all of my library files (including the pose files that load/remove the morphs) are still on another drive.

I'm curious if anyone else tried this, and if so, if they've encountered any other problems.

Thanx

M.J. Bussey

I've been looking for the answer to this problem. I too have just started with V3 and P5 and remote runtimes. I know all about P5 and remote runtimes. I just don't know much about V3 and injection stuff. I know there was a post a week or two ago but I can't find it. I'm thankful that I saw this post and am bookmarking it. Thanks m.j. Joe

Yep, you is right about putting the !DAZ folder into the default P5 runtime. Everything else can go in what runtime ever, just this files have to be in the default place. Otherwise it loads forever and a day as you might have noticed already.

And remember, every time you install a new unimesh character, or install an update to same, you have to re-copy the !DAZ folder to the default P5 runtime again.
