Hi Bryce4Me, You need Painter/Paint Shop Pro to use the nozzles/Tubes, so the first part of the tutorials won't be very helpful without one of these paint programs. We're giving Painter 5.5 away with purchase of Jungle 3D. You can also download a fully functional demo of PSP from Jasc's site (http://www.jasc.com). I suggested the tutorials because at the end is a demonstration on how to apply them, especially the terrain foliage textures. Hope you had fun. Dennis@DigArts

Are you going to adapt it for Adobe Photoshop? I'm trying to learn it (along with 10 million other things.) I don't want to have to learn to use Painter on top of everything else.

First, let me apologize for posting such a large image. It takes forever to load this page using the 28.8 modem this Mac. To answer your question. Photoshop doesn't have a sprayer tool, so there's nothing to adapt to. We've lobbied Adobe, but it hasn't worked, though they did try to purchase Painter from what we've heard. That would have helped I imagine. Unfortunately, a plug-in approach is not a good answer because you're restricted to a small window within Photoshop. For filters, that small window is okay. But for painting, especially painting 1012 X 1012 textures, a 400 pixel window just won't do. Further, this type of plug-in loads memory to such an extent that you need to install the "piggy" plug-in. That name tells you a lot. As for Painter or Photopaint, they're simply the best alternatives. Since you can get Painter 5.5 free with the purchase of Jungle 3D, it's a pretty good solution. We even teach you how to use it (for painting trees foliage textures). So, you can learn what you need without having to learn things you won't use or don't need.
