It's all in the transparency. Depending on how you imported to Bryce, you probably have the transparency map already loaded, but you need the right settings in the materials to make it look right. I remeber you have to have "blend transparency" chosen, but I'm no expert in Bryce. Someone who uses it more can probably tell you exactly what you have to click to get the transparency working right.

Just to stress that you need to make sure the transparency is loaded into the alpha channel (see how it appears in all three boxes above?). You can do this by copying it from the colour channel in the deep texture editor. Also, if you aren't using a bump you can put the transparency in the same channel as the texture, rather than use two channels as shown here.

I'm soo close, but yet so far away. Many of you have helped with my Poser/Bryce education. However, I've hit a wall. I've created some wonderful landscapes in Bryce, and have created some wonderful poses for Mike M2. But Once I import my Mike m2 or horses with manes, I get the old helmet head of hair. I've tried every tutorial I can find, and I'm not getting any closer. I'm going mad. Does any one have any solutions, suggestions, special tutorials that may help? Please... Thanks, mmajor
